ARRESTS

Deputy Moon arrested Jacob Kane Hammonds from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Assault 2nd and Destruction of State Property. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Jeffrey Shane Sims from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Kevin Ray Gooden from Stewartville, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Roy Milton Peterson from Vincent, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Julia Christy Marie Thomas-Mitchell from Stewartville, AL. on two warrants for Probation Revocation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle which he determined to be disabled. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 53 after receiving a report of a Theft of property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 78 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 39 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject in which he determined was a missing juvenile from another county. The Deputy turned the juvenile over to the other agency to be transported back to his parents.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of suspicious persons around a residence. The Deputy located the subjects in which he determined that they had permission to be on the property.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving several reports of horses in the roadway. After locating the owners of the horses, they were removed from the area.

A Deputy was dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

A Deputy was dispatched to Blankenship Loop after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 55 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

KEYNO

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 42 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and the warrant process explained.

GOODWATER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of a prowler. The Deputy checked the residence and patrolled the area and no evidence of a prowler was found.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 40 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

Goodwater Medics were dispatched to County Road 50 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

Kellyton and Goodwater Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Long Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RICHVILLE

Richville, Rockford, Hanover, and Goodwater Fire Departments along with Deputies were dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a structure fire. There were no reported injuries and the structure was extinguished.

ROCKFORD

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 108 after receiving a report of an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

Rockford First Responders were dispatched to Hill Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of a missing juvenile. After a brief search the juvenile was located and transported to the parents.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 18 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm had been set off by accident.

Deputy Rudd arrested Robert Edward Peterson from Goodwater , AL. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and Public Intoxication. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt Scott Hammond arrested Amanda Falon Liner from Sylacauga Al, on charges of Bond Revocation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy  Moon arrested Kenneth Wayne McVeigh of Valley, Al on the charges of probation revocation. He was processed and placed in the county jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Markecia Reneee Richardson of Kellyton, Al on the charges of Failure to Appear in court. She was processed and placed in the county jail to await trial

Deputy Rudd arrested Quonterious Kirikis Morgan of Columbus, Oh on the charges of failure to pay child support. He was processed and placed in the county jail to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of a one vehicle motor vehicle accident. Owner advised that no damage was done, and no report was needed.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of cows in the roadway. The owner had put the cow up prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and a report for reckless endangerment was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 68 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and the vehicle was not located.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Stewartville and Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance , a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Macedonia Loop after receiving a report of suspicious activity. Deputy made contact with caretaker and a report was completed and case is under investigation.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 41 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to the Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Stewartville First responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 78 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to the Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Trespasser at a business. Deputy escorted subject off premises without incident.

 

WEOGUFKA

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of theft of property. A report was completed and case is under investigation.

Lt. Burke and Deputy Moon attended the Monthly Weogufka Neighborhood Watch Meeting where Deputy Jones presented the monthly crime report for the area.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a cow in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the cow.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 66 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and Public Intoxication.

A Deputy was dispatched to Rabbit Run Road after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

 

 

GOODWATER

Kellyton medics were dispatched to the Goodwater Nursing Home after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to the Coosa Valley hospital without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. After searching the area the Deputy did not locate suspicious activity.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 44 after receiving a report of a missing person. Subject was located without injury or incident.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of an unruly juvenile. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Kellyton and Goodwater Fire departments were dispatched to Hillside Trailer Park after receiving a report of a possible structure fire. Fire departments were unable to locate a structure fire.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 50 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and the vehicle was not located.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 126 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a motor vehicle accident on private property. A report was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to Little New York Loop after receiving a report of theft of property. A report was completed and case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 119 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. Deputy spoke with both parties and situation was resolved without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person at a business. Deputy made contact with a subject and escorted him away from the business.

Goodwater Fire Department was dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of a fire alarm. Goodwater checked residence and determined the alarm to be false.

RICHVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 37 after receiving a report of a theft of property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 37 after receiving a report of used tires thrown out on the side of the roadway. A report was completed and the scene turned over to the Litter Enforcement Officer.

 

 

ROCKFORD

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident reported finding a firearm on the side of the road way. A report was completed for found property and the firearm was placed in custody of the Sheriff’s Office until the owner could be located.

A Deputy was dispatched to Spring St after receiving a report of a civil dispute. One party had left prior to arrival, deputy spoke with remaining party and situation was resolved without incident.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

Alabama State Troopers and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of a vehicle that had struck a deer. No injuries were reported and scene was released to State Troopers.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of an unwanted guest. Deputy spoke to both parties and situation was resolved without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 67 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. Deputy checked residence and determined alarm to be false.

RAY

A Deputy was dispatched to Robinson Road after receiving a request for a Welfare Check on a resident. Deputy spoke with all parties and situation was resolved without incident.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 15 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute with injuries. Resident was treated on scene, a report was completed and case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

Kellyton medics were dispatched to County road 85 after receiving a request for medical assistance. Resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.
