ARRESTS

Deputy Cook arrested Jessie James Taylor from Stewartville, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and Attempting to Elude. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Keel arrested Reuna Angeluna Jennings from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Speeding and Driving while Suspended. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

Deputy Cook arrested Lacey Leeann Owens from Prattville, AL  on a Grand Jury Indictment for Trafficking Meth. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Brandon Lashaun Hicks from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Parole Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Cook arrested Sherry Lynn Haynes from Clanton, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Trafficking Meth. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of cows in the roadway. The cows had been put up prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of Identity Theft. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and the issue was resolved without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of an abandoned vehicle. A report was completed and a wrecker service was notified.

A Deputy was dispatched to Deer Path Road after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke with the complainant and the issue was resolved without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the issue was resolved without incident.

Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 55 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 35 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Weogufka First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 55 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

HANOVER

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a residential medical alarm. The medics checked the residence and determined that the alarm was set off by accident.

Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of trespassing. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 123 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

GOODWATER

Howard NMN Kelly Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Broken Arrowhead Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

Deputies were dispatched to Highland Street in Goodwater, to assist Goodwater Police Department on reports of a large unruly crowd at one of the apartments. The Deputies assisted Goodwater and Alex City Housing Authority without incident.

KELLYTON

Deputies were dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. The Deputies spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 40 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it appeared to be disabled.

Deputy Rudd arrested Malik Ione James from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd, Theft of Property 2nd and two counts of Breaking and Entering a Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Nicholas Tyrone Odem from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy Cook arrested Tony Wayne Connell from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy Cook arrested Sylvester Lamar Todd from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Driving while Suspended. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

A Deputy was dispatched to Little Tom’s Road after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and no evidence of the vehicle was found.

STEWARTVILLE COMMUNITY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 41 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle which he determined to be disabled.

A Deputy was dispatched to Ed’s Lane after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Harvest Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

A Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of an abandoned vehicle in the roadway. The Deputy located the vehicle and had it towed from the roadway.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to McClure Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER COMMUNITY

Hanover First Responders and Sylacauga were dispatched to County Road 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Hanover First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to County Road 314 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE COMMUNITY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a person getting bit by a dog. A report was completed and turned over to the Health Department.

Deputy Burke attended the Mount Olive Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Steve Allen Marbury a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Dawson Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Stacy Bernard McKinney a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 66 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON COMMUNITY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 323 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed for insurance purposes.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that employees had set the alarm off by accident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.
