ARRESTS

Lt. Hammond arrested Tommy Lee Lawson Jr. from Alexander City; AL. on the charge of Robbery 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Lipscomb arrested Graley Alexander Powell from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Keel arrested Scott William McCook Jr. from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Probation Revocation and Failure to Pay / Arson 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Willie Frank Miller Jr. from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Jamal Maurice Bull and Jeremy Wayne Acklin from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Illegal Open House Party. They were processed and released on bond to await trial.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Oak Crest Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 68 after receiving a report of vicious dogs running loose in the neighborhood. The Deputy located the owner of the dogs and warned them about letting the dogs run loose.

Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to County Road 70 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 78 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 68 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

WEOGUFKA

Deputies were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputies located the loud music and after warning the residents to turn the music down discovered several minors on the premises. Two subjects were arrested for having an Illegal Open House Party and a report was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to Estelle Drive after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 75 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of several suspicious people in the roadway. The Deputy located the subjects which he discovered to be juveniles. The juvenile’s parents were notified and warned them about the kids being in the area.

 

GOODWATER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Holmes Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Sam Pearson Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 89 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of a missing person. After a brief investigation the subject was located and everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 108 after receiving a report of a missing person. After a brief investigation the person was located and everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 108 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

Rockford First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to School Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 93 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

 

 

EQUALITY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 67 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

RAY

Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a single vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. One person was airlifted to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 91 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 73 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

LAKE MITCHELL

Richville First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to Cove Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

Corporal Moon arrested Terry Lynn Burkett from Silver Hills, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Monique Clara Crates from Birmingham, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Henry Lee Kelly from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Failure to Register as a Sex Offender (SORNA) Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Amethyst Dawn Simpson from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Theft of Property 3rd. She was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy Jones arrested Roger Hayne Ward from Equality, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.
