ARRESTS

On August 7th Deputy Jones arrested Jason William Jones from Verbena, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On August 8th Deputy Jones arrested Gregory Lynn Jones from Alpine, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On August 8th Deputy Jones arrested Undra Lashune Buchanan from Vincent, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Expired Tag and Driving While Suspended. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On August 9th Deputy Jones arrested Amanda Leigh Casey from Ashland, AL. on the charge of Attempting to Elude. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2500 bond to await trial.

On August 10th Deputy Rudd arrested Billy Joel Miley from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Keel arrested Jason LaShawn Crawford from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Driving While Revoked x 2, Speeding, and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and released on a $ 4000 bond to await trial.

On August 11th Deputy Rudd arrested Kytn William Wentzell from Goodwater , AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation and the charge of Possession of Chemical Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond on the Probation charge and a $5000 bond to the Possession charge to await trial.

On August 11th Deputy Jones arrested Kristen Nicole McGrady from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On August 11th Deputy Davenport arrested Jessica Susan McCook from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY

On August 7th Marble Valley First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to Paint Creek Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

STEWARTVILLE

On August 7th Stewartville and Hanover First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 53 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 7th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault was completed and one person was arrested.

On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Live Oak Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

GOODWATER

On August 7th Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Drive reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On August 9th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 115 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 9th Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

On August 8th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 18 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On August 11th Rockford First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to School Street after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On August 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

RAY

On August 12th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 @ Hwy 259 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

ARRESTS

On July 31st Corporal Moon arrested Frederick Cornelius Todd from Goodwater, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance x 2 and Driving While Revoked x 2. He was processed and released on a $4000 bond to await trial.

On July 31st Lt. Hammond arrested Gregory Chase Owens from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Probation Violation, Criminal Trespass 3rd and Theft of Property 4th. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on No Bond on the Probation Violation and a $1000 bond on the other two charges.

On July 31st Deputy Rudd arrested Lori Quinn Boykin from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Driving While Revoked, Driving Under the Influence and Improper Lights. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

On August 2nd Lt. Keel arrested Paul Edward Bolan from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On August 4th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Kala Mairie McMahon from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. She was processed and released on a $2500 bond to await trial.

On August 3rd Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

KELLYTON

On August 1st, a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On July 31st Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to River Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Chilton County.

On August 4th, a Deputy was dispatched to CR 14 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On August 4th, a Deputy was dispatched to CR 1 after receiving a report of a Burglary. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

ROCKFORD

On August 5th, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 5th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On July 31st Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 1st Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 32 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MITCHELL

On August 6th Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to Mallard Cove after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital in Chilton County.

On July 26th Deputy Lipscomb arrested Earnest Manual Wright from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released on a $1000 bond to await trial.

On July 26th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 56 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

He was processed and released on a $45,000 bond to await trial.

On July 21st Deputy Rudd arrested Steven James Cote from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On July 22nd Stewartville and Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance along with a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 70 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. One person was airlifted by Life-Saver to U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 12th Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to CR 150 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On July 13th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On July 14th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On July 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway.  The Deputy located the subject and they were arrested on the charges of Public Intoxication and Public Lewdness.

On July 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

WEOGUFKA

On July 13th Weogufka and Marble Valley First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 55 after receiving a report on a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

HANOVER

On July 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and the warrant process was explained.

KELLYTON

On July 11th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 11th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 130 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On July 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 15th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 at CR 50 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center by a private vehicle and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 14th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 30 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

EQUALITY

On July 11th Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On July 12th Equality First Responders and Haynes Ambulance and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 4th Deputy House arrested Joseph Keenan Lanier from Equality, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On July 4th Deputy Rudd arrested Steven Keenan McClellan from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Reckless Endangerment. He was processed and released on a $ 1000 bond to await trial.

On July 5th Lt. Keel arrested Anthony Ray Meeks from Weogufka, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On June 27th Deputy Jones arrested Billy Joe Hulsey from Stewartville, AL. on the charges of Attempting to Elude, Operating a Vehicle Without Insurance, Expired Tag, Driving While Suspended, Speeding and Operating a Vehicle with Obstructed Windshield. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2500 bond to await trial.

On June 27th Deputy Jones arrested Lena Meshea Burdette from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.
