JAIL POPULATION AS OF JAN. 31, 2016 (20 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 24 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

Lt. Hammond arrested Julie Michele Horton and Danny Lee Meeks Jr. from Millbrook, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 3rd. They were processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Corporal Moon arrested Emmanuel Arturo Kelly from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Non Support of a Child. He was processed and released after payment was made to the Department of Human Resources.

Lt. Hammond arrested Hannah Marie Campbell from Rockford on warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 2nd, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Criminal Mischief 2nd and Criminal Trespass 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Keel arrested Christopher Corey Slagle from Daviston, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/No Seat Belt and Driving while Revoked. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

Deputy Jones arrested Timthie Roland Wall from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

A Deputy was dispatched to Holly Springs Road after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Marble Valley First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hardy Lane after receiving a report of cows in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the cows.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 53 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

Billy Louis Ford Sr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 150 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to to register his Sex Offender information.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 75 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

Kenneth Ray Swindell a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

Kellyton Medics and Deputies were dispatched to County Road 50 after receiving a report of an Assault. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and a report for Domestic Violence 3rd/ Assault was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 28 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to Pine Tree Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 50 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

RICHVILLE

Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, and Deputies were dispatched to Sleepy Hollow Road after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident on private property. A report was completed and Haynes Life Flight airlifted one person to Baptist South in Montgomery.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

A Deputy was dispatched to Sleepy Hollow Road after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed for Criminal Mischief 2nd and Criminal Trespassing 1st and the case is under investigation.

ROCKFORD

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a prowler. The Deputy checked the residence and patrolled the area and did not locate anything suspicious.

Corporal Moon attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly Crime Report for the area.
