ARRESTS

On June 19th Lt. Hammond arrested April Nicole Barnes from Stewartville, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 1st. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On June 19th Lt. Hammond arrested Jason Michael Millard from Pelham , AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On June 20th Chief Davidson arrested Maria Mazo Kostina from Harpersville, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia1st and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance bond to await trial.

On June 21st Lt. Burke arrested Nosqualilas Jujuan Blake from Wetumpka, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Possession of Marijuana 1st and Driving While Revoked. He was processed and released on a $600 bond to await trial.

On June 21st Lt. Keel arrested Dakota Layne Gaither on the charge of Theft of Property 3rd. She was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance bond to await trial.

On June 21st Deputy Lipscomb arrested James Douglas Hubbard from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5000 bond to await trial.

On June 21st Chief Davidson arrested Camryn Seth Collier from Sylacauga, Al on the charge of Theft of Property 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5000 bond to await trial.

On June 22nd Lt. Burke arrested Stevie Valdez Wilson from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/ Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On June 24th Deputy House arrested Brandon Lee Monday from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Criminal Mischief 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 2,500 bond to await trial.

On June 24th Deputy House arrested Hunter Scott Floyd from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Minor in Possession of Alcohol. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On June 24th Deputy House arrested Jonah Kade Hernandez from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $1,500 bond to await trial.

On June 25th Deputy House arrested Robert Lee Myers from Equality, AL. on a the charges of Driving Under the Influence, Open Container Violation, Ignition Interlock Violation, Improper Tag Light, Improper Lane Usage, and Failure to Display Insurance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await a Bond Hearing.

On June 19th Stewartville and Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 150 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of a Civil Dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Theft of Property 1st.

On June 20th James Harry Embry Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 74 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On June 22nd Stewartville and Weogufka First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 78 at CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

WEOGUFKA

On June 20th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On June 20th David Richard Duke a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 56 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On June 22nd Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Quail Trail after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

On June 20th Hanover First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Rolling Mountain Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

MOUNT OLIVE

On June 19th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

GOODWATER

On June 20th Corey Levell Eppes a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gaddis Lane reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On June 20th Howard Kelly Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Broken Arrowhead Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

EQUALITY

On June 22nd Equality First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On June 22nd Haynes Ambulance was dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a request for medical treatment. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On June 12th Deputy Burke arrested Melvin Ray Feagins from Birmingham, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest, Reckless Endangerment, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Speeding. He was processed and released on a Personal Recognizance Bond to await trial.

On June 13th Deputy Jones arrested Joseph Earl Whitman from Clanton, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On June 13th Lt. Hammond arrested Brittany Rena Mizzell from Sylacauga, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Identity Theft. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On June 16th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On June 14th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, and a Deputy were dispatched to Chapman Creek Road after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On June 17th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Parker Creek Marina after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On June 12th a Deputy was dispatched to the Underwater Bridge Road after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

SMYRNA

On June 12th Lt. Burke attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On June 5th Deputy Hale arrested Charles Augusta Purnell III from Hoover, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

On June 5th Lt. Hammond arrested Santana Ann Kelley from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On June 6th Deputy Rudd arrested Amethyst Dawn Simpson from Dadeville, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay Possession of a Controlled Substance and Failure to Appear -Unlawful Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $6000 bond to await trial.

On June 6th Deputy Rudd arrested Jose L. Hernandez from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2500 bond to await trial.

JAIL POPULATION AS OF JUNE 4 (22 MALES & 8 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES

ARRESTS

On June 1st Chief Davidson arrested James O’Brien Spears from Rockford, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 1st and Burglary 1st. He also had warrants for Failure to Appear /Assault 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $31,000 bond for the first two charges and no bond on the Failure to Appear charges until the next Court date.

On June 1st Deputy Rudd arrested Carlos Quintez Whetstone from Equality, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear / Fishing Without Permission and Failure to Appear/Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and released on a $1500 bond to await trial.

On June 3rd Lt. Hammond arrested Christopher Earnest Davis from Equality, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and Theft of Property 2nd. Also he was arrested on warrants for Failure to Appear/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $17,500 bond on the Grand Jury Indictments and no bond on the Failure to Appear warrants to await trial.

On June 3rd Lt. Hammond arrested Amy Lynn Ward from Equality, AL. on Grand Jury indictments for Breaking and Entering a Vehicle and Theft of Property 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial.
