JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUGUST 21 (18 MALES & 4 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 22 INMATES

ARRESTS

On August 15th Lt. Keel arrested Johnathan Tayson Tolentino Jr. from Montgomery, AL. on warrants for Speeding, Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign, Improper Passing, Improper Lights, Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest and Reckless Endangerment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5200 bond to await trial.

On August 15th Deputy Rudd arrested Jennifer Lynn Carter from Clanton, AL. on the charge of Giving False Information to Law Enforcement. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On August 15th Deputy Rudd arrested Christopher Carl Kirk from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Obstructing Governmental Operations. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On August 17th Chief Davidson arrested Leroy NMN Hill from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Regulations (SORNA). He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5000 bond to await trial.

On August 19th Deputy House arrested Jerry McArthur Hill from Equality, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On August 19th Deputy House arrested Amy Lynn Ward from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Gas Drive Off and one charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2000 bond for the Possession of Marijuana 2nd and No Bond on the Failure to Pay charge.

On August 20th Deputy Rudd arrested Wesley Jackson Ellis from Huntsville, AL. on the charges on Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $4000 bond to await trial.

On August 21st Deputy House arrested Joe Louis Knight from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On August 21, Deputy House arrested Sterling NMN Clayton from Trussville, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle and Speeding of 115 in a 65 MPH Zone. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $3500 Bond to await trial.

STEWARTVILLE

On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Sims Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute involving a juvenile. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and the Juvenile Officer was informed of the situation.

On August 16th Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to CR 68 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On August 16th Freddie Richard Johns Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 41 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 16th Randy Wayne Adair a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 70 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 16th Bobby Aaron Saffold a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 70 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

WEOGUFKA

On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On August 16th Angela Sue Sexton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update her quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 18th Corporal Moon attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

HANOVER

On August 18th Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 157 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was treated on the scene and it was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 19th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and turned over to the Investigator.

On August 20th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 49 to a two vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

GOODWATER

On August 16th Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Holmes Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 16th Raymond Adam Chillura a convicted Sex Offender that Resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 19th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

KELLYTON

On August 16th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident reported a Theft of Property. A report was completed and was turned over to the Investigator.

On August 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On August 16th Cary Tumane Leonard a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 101 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

RAY

On August 20th Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near CR 71 after a one vehicle accident was reported. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 21st a Deputy was dispatched to CR 32 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

LAKE MITCHELL

On August 20th Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 110 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Shelby Baptist Hospital.

On August 8th Corporal Moon arrested Jeffery Wayne Johnson from Eclectic, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear / Theft by Deception. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Burke arrested Dalametrick Keon Twymon from Talladega, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Burke arrested Arthur Legrant Cox from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $35,000 bond to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Burke arrested Padre Lesuer Leonard from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 1st, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and Parole Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 30,000 bond and No Bond on the Parole Violation to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Burke arrested Lewis Demerkit Searcy from Talladega, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 25,000 bond to await trial.

On August 12th Chief Davidson arrested Carlos Quintez Whetstone from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Obstructing Governmental Operations. He was processed and released on $500 bond to await trial.

On August 13th Corporal Moon arrested Diann Smoot Chapman from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument. She was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On August 14th Deputy Jones arrested Reginald Dewayne Smith from Birmingham, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5000 bond to await trial.

On August 8th Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Drive reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On August 9th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 46 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 9th Kellyton Medics and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 50 near CR 85 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Church Street after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On July 25th Corporal Moon arrested Tony Dewayne Moore from Kellyton, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 2nd and Burglary 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

On July 27th Corporal Moon arrested Christi Lane Buchannon from Rainbow City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear /Speeding. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

On July 27th Deputy Rudd arrested Terrell Lamar Lykes from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

On July 28th Lt. Keel arrested Jeremy Clayton Maske from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/ Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment and Failure to Appear/No Insurance and Expired Tag. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

On July 29th Lt. Keel arrested Jim H. Girdner from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Menacing. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On July 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Deer Path Road after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that he had warrants in another county. The subject was transported to the County Jail and turned over to the other Agency.

On July 31st Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy, and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 and CR 53 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 29th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 39 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On July 27th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and a Deputy were dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On July 26th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 and CR 117 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Weathers Lane after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault and the warrant process explained.

On July 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Weathers Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On July 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Payne Road after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

GOODWATER

On July 31st Stacy Bernard McKinney a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 52 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On July 31st Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On July 30th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 and Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On July 28th Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 130 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

On July 31st a Deputy and Kellyton Rescue was dispatched to Hatchet Creek off of CR 107 after receiving a report of three people stranded on the creek. After several hours of searching, the subjects were found and were all ok.

On July 25th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

July 19th / Corporal Moon arrested Nataya Lanetria Thomas from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 1st and Forgery. She was processed and bond was set at $ 30,000.

 July 20th / Corporal Moon arrested Michael Chase Wilson from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/ Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released after fines were paid.
