ARRESTS

On September 20th Lt. Hammond arrested Lachunda Renee Shealey from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

On September 21st Lt. Keel arrested Richard Lewis Shealey from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Negotiating a Worthless Instrument. He was processed and released on a Court Order to complete payment of money owed.

On September 21st Deputy Rudd arrested Thomas Wade Honeycutt from Sylacauga, AL on the charge of Public Intoxication. He was processed and released on a $ 500 bond to await trial.

On September 22nd Lt. Keel arrested Stephanie Donnell Chapman from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 22nd Deputy House arrested Charles Edward Baker III from Opelika, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia1st. He was processed and released on a $5000 bond to await trial.

On September 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 99 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

STEWARTVILLE

On September 20th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On September 20th Harry James Embry Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 74 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On September 20th Thomas Eugene Gable Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On September 21st a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On September 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of Criminal Littering. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

MOUNT OLIVE

On September 20th Willie Earl Gamble a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Drive reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On September 20th Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On September 12th Lt. Hammond arrested George Samuel Warren III from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On September 12th Deputy House arrested Roger Hayne Ward from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 12th Deputy House arrested Alonzo Pascual Mateo from Gadsden, AL. on the charges of Giving False Information to Law Enforcement, Speeding and No Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $3100 bond.

On September 13th Deputy House arrested Salvador NMN Naranjo from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/No Insurance. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

On September 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Delma Carlton Silmon from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with a $1500 payout amount.

On September 18th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 150 after receiving a report of a Domestic Dispute between two brothers. A report was completed and one of the subjects was transported to Lee County Juvenile Facility.

On September 15th Corporal Moon attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

HANOVER

On September 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a Minor in Possession of Alcohol. A report was completed and the juvenile was turned over to the Juvenile Officer.

GOODWATER

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

KELLYTON

On September 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and one subject was arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On September 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 130 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On September 15th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 15th Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 141 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 16th Kellyton and Ray Fire Departments, along with a Deputy were dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a structure fire. A report was completed and the scene turned over to the Fire Departments.

On September 17th Goodwater Medics were dispatched to Long Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 459 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On September 15th Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 18th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 at CR 29 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There was no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 8th Deputy House arrested Brandon Scott Brown from Rockford, AL. on a Probation Violation for a Drug Court Sanction. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve a 5-day sanction.

On September 8th Lt. Hammond arrested Elizabeth Marie Dunham from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Identity Theft. She was processed and released on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On September 8th Deputy House arrested Tiana Brene Riley from Kellyton, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and released on a $4500 bond to await trial.

On September 8th Lt. Hammond arrested Cassandra Lynn Tampling from Sylacauga, AL. on a Drug Court Sanction for 48 hrs. Also, she was arrested on a Probation Violation Warrant and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 8th Stewartville and Hanover First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 49 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 10th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On September 11th Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a horse. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 10th a Deputy was dispatched to Narrow Cove Road after receiving a report of a lost firearm. A report was completed for information purposes.

On August 29th Deputy House arrested Patrick Alexander May Jr. from Birmingham, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $6500 bond to await trial.

On August 30th Lt. Keel arrested Justin Renard Paschal from Elmore, AL. on a warrant for Shooting into an Occupied Building/Vehicle. He was processed and released on a $5000 bond to await trial.

On August 30th Lt. Burke arrested Jerry Dewayne Bearden from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

ROCKFORD

On August 30th Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics, Deputies and Rockford Police Chief were dispatched to Hwy 231 just North of Town after receiving a report of an accident involving a tractor trailer. One person was airlifted by Haynes Lifeflight to U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.

On September 2nd Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics and Deputies were dispatched to CR 23 after receiving a report of an accident involving a tractor. The resident was deceased due to injuries prior to the medic’s arrival. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

AUGUST 22-28, 2016

JAIL POPULATION AS OF AUGUST 28 (16 MALES & 3 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 19 INMATES

ARRESTS

On August 23rd Deputy Lipscomb arrested Walter James Sanders Jr. from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Driving Under the Influence, Driving While Revoked, No Insurance, Expired Tax and having an Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with No Bond to await trial.

On August 23rd Deputy Jones arrested Craig NMN Jones from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Giving False Information to Law Enforcement. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with a $2500 bond to await trial.

On August 27th Deputy Jones arrested Jeremiah Jason Jones from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay Child Support from Henry County Georgia. He was processed and is awaiting extradition to Georgia.

On August 23rd Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On August 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Mockingbird Trail after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and a report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd / Harassment.

MOUNT OLIVE

On August 22nd Leroy NMN Hill a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 116 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On August 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 123 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd / Harassment and both parties separated for the night.

On August 28th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 49 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On August 25th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On August 22nd Deputies were dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a juvenile that was missing. After a brief interview with the parents, the juvenile was found and everything was ok.

On August 22nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On August 25th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of Menacing. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

On August 25th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

ARRESTS

On August 15th Lt. Keel arrested Johnathan Tayson Tolentino Jr. from Montgomery, AL. on warrants for Speeding, Failing to Stop at a Stop Sign, Improper Passing, Improper Lights, Attempting to Elude, Resisting Arrest and Reckless Endangerment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5200 bond to await trial.

On August 15th Deputy Rudd arrested Jennifer Lynn Carter from Clanton, AL. on the charge of Giving False Information to Law Enforcement. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On August 15th Deputy Rudd arrested Christopher Carl Kirk from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Obstructing Governmental Operations. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On August 17th Chief Davidson arrested Leroy NMN Hill from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Regulations (SORNA). He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $5000 bond to await trial.

On August 19th Deputy House arrested Jerry McArthur Hill from Equality, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On August 19th Deputy House arrested Amy Lynn Ward from Equality, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/Gas Drive Off and one charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2000 bond for the Possession of Marijuana 2nd and No Bond on the Failure to Pay charge.

On August 21st Deputy House arrested Joe Louis Knight from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On August 21, Deputy House arrested Sterling NMN Clayton from Trussville, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence, Minor in Possession of Alcohol, Open Container of Alcohol in a Vehicle and Speeding of 115 in a 65 MPH Zone. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $3500 Bond to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Burke arrested Dalametrick Keon Twymon from Talladega, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On August 11th Lt. Burke arrested Arthur Legrant Cox from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $35,000 bond to await trial.
