JAIL POPULATION AS OF JULY 26 (24 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

Lt. Keel arrested Ryan Lamar Williams from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Michael Scott Mehaffey from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Chief Davidson arrested Steve Allen Marbury from Goodwater, AL. for the charge of Failure to Register/Sex Offender Violation. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Cedric Lamar Wallace from Birmingham, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd X 2 and Theft of Property 1st X 2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Chief Davidson arrested Brendan Trey Martin from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

 

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

Marble Valley First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a horse in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the horse.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving two separate reports of Thefts of Property. Reports were completed and the cases are under investigation.

Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 70 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and Deputies were dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 55 after receiving a report of cows in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the cows.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Brandon Alan Krueger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Payne Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of suspicious vehicles in the area. The Deputy located the vehicles and determined that everything was ok.

Leroy NMN Hill a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 116 came to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

Deputy Rudd arrested Brandon Montrez Poole from Millbrook, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

Lt. Burke arrested James Walter Linch from Prattville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 33 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm had been set off by accident.

RAY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 91 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the subject and warned him not to come back on the property.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 26 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 73 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The Deputy located the person and warned him not to come back on the property.

LAKE MARTIN

Deputies were dispatched to County Road 24 after receiving complaints of a large crowd gathering at the boat ramp. The Deputies located the crowd and warned them about causing a disturbance in the area.

A Deputy was dispatched to Woodvine Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

 

 

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

ARRESTS

Lt. Keel arrested Michael Heath Franklin from Sylacauga, AL, on warrants for Criminal Mischief 2nd and Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Steven Seth Becker from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Attempting to Elude. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Timothy Adam Webb from Childersburg, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the county Jail to await trial.

Deputy Jones arrested Ricky NMN Powell from Rockford, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Burke arrested Jarret Evan Glenn from Clanton, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Andrew Scott Hall from Opelika, AL. on the charge of Attempting to Elude. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Burke arrested Dwight Anthony Marbury from Goodwater, AL. on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

David Richard Duke a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 56 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

Harry James Embry Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 74 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Eds Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 68 after receiving a report of a prowler. The Deputy checked the residence and patrolled the area and did not locate anyone.

A Deputy was dispatched to Buford Lane after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm had been set off by accident.

Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

Weogufka First Responders and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 55 after receiving a report of a Hospice Patient that was unresponsive. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Deputy Coroner.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.
