ARRESTS

Corporal Moon arrested Tammy Champagne Moreland from Jemison, AL. on a warrant for a 5 day Drug Court Sanction. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve her sentence.

Deputy Lipscomb arrested Ernie Eugene Holbrook Jr. from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Carrying a Pistol Without a License. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Corporal Moon arrested Kenneth Lee Messer from Wadley, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

Deputy Jones arrested Norwood Jason Vandyke from Vestavia, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Obbie Lee Davis from Kellyton, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Brandy Michelle Carlisle from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Cruelty to Animals. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy House arrested Everett Adam Germany from Ashland, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Theft of Property 2nd, Theft of Property 3rd, Theft of Property 4th and Unlawful Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Barry Dixon Limbaugh Jr. from Dadeville, AL. on the charges of a Sex Offender Failing to Register Place of Residence and A Sex Offender in a Prohibited Residence Location. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Lipscomb arrested Karl Oscar Fastnacht III from Weogufka, AL. on the charge of Public Intoxication. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Deputy Jones arrested Justin Bernard Woody from Alexander City, AL. on the charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana 1st and Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell or Distribute. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY

A Deputy was dispatched to Acorn Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 41 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

A Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

WEOGUFKA

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 181 after receiving a report of loud music. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the source of the music.

Weogufka and Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Liveoaks Lane after receiving a report of a child being run over by a vehicle. The child was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Troopers.

Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

A Deputy was dispatched to Oak Tree Drive after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

 

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 75 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

KEYNO

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 71 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 42 after receiving a request for a civil standby. The Deputy assisted the citizen while they retrieved their property.

GOODWATER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 332 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the Deputy determined that one subject was wanted in another county. That subject was transported to the county line and turned over to the other agency.

A Deputy was dispatched to Church Street after receiving a report of a private property accident. A report was completed without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 46 after receiving a report of Animal Cruelty. A report was completed and one subject was arrested.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 37 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, and Deputies were dispatched to County Road 37 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

ROCKFORD

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 47 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 120 after receiving a report of Trespassing. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.

SPEED

A Deputy was dispatched to Carolina Way after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the vehicle.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 101 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 73 after receiving complaints of juveniles on ATV’s in the roadway. The Deputy spoke to the juveniles and their parents and warned them about riding on public roads.

Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

WEOGUFKA

Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to McGalliard Trail after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle which appeared to be disabled.

Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to County Road 75 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a donkey in the roadway. The Deputy herded the donkey back to its pen without incident.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 119 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

Hanover First Responders, Kellyton Medics and Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of an Assault. A report was completed and the victim was airlifted by Haynes Life Flight to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Stewartville First Responders, Goodwater Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 66 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Russell Medical Center after a resident reported an Assault. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

GOODWATER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 94 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 111 after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

RICHVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.
