JAIL POPULATION AS OF MAR. 8(22 MALES & 7 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 29 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

Deputy Jones arrested Gary Devarta Norris from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Giving False Information to Law Enforcement. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Charles Claude Oden from Childersburg, AL. and Kaylyn Shana Sims from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Murder. They were processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Casandra Lynn Johnston Tampling from Childersburg, AL. on the charge of Theft of Property 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Lipscomb arrested Crystal Rene Lanham from Goodwater, AL. and Dustin Jacob Graham from Sylacauga, AL. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. They were processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Burke arrested Travis Terrill Kendrick from Wetumpka, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear / No Insurance. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

Deputy House arrested Moises Johnathan Garcia from Alexander City, AL. on a warrant for Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Amy Williams Morris from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear / Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

A Deputy was dispatched to Riverview Lane after receiving a report of a vicious dog in the area. The Deputy located the owner and warned them to put the dog up.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved when one of the subjects left the residence for the night.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 66 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 70 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 117 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 53 after receiving a report of loud music in the area. The music had been turned down prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 68 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

WEOGUFKA

Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 29 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

Weogufka First Responders were dispatched to County Road 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

Deputies, the Coroner and the State Bureau of Investigations were dispatched to Lodis Lane after receiving a report of a possible Homicide. A report was completed and three arrests were made in the case.

A Deputy was dispatched to Duke Trailer Park after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Robert Clay Schrader Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 56 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 35 after receiving a report of several gunshots heard in the area. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the source of the shots.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 75 after receiving a report of a Domestic Dispute. A report was completed and two arrests were made for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.

A Deputy was dispatched to Jackson Bottoms Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 123 after receiving a report of an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a horse in the roadway. The owner had put the horse back in its pasture prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

KEYNO

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 71 after receiving a report of an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Goodwater Medics were dispatched to County Road 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

 

RICHVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

ROCKFORD

Deputy House attended the Union Square Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 8 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy located the subject and gave him a ride to his destination.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 108 after receiving a report of an Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 30 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

EQUALITY

Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 73 after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 32 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the business and determined that the alarm was false.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of gunshots in the area. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the source of the shots.

 

LAKE MARTIN

A Deputy was dispatched to Sunrise Court after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

SMYRNA

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 85 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival. A report was completed for Domestic Violence 3rd and the warrant process explained.
