PRESS RELEASE

JULY 20 – 26, 2015

JAIL POPULATION AS OF JULY 26 (24 MALES & 6 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 30 INMATES

 

ARRESTS

Lt. Keel arrested Ryan Lamar Williams from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Michael Scott Mehaffey from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Chief Davidson arrested Steve Allen Marbury from Goodwater, AL. for the charge of Failure to Register/Sex Offender Violation. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

Lt. Hammond arrested Cedric Lamar Wallace from Birmingham, AL. on the charges of Burglary 3rd X 2 and Theft of Property 1st X 2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Chief Davidson arrested Brendan Trey Martin from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on bond to await trial.

 

 

CALLS FOR SERVICE

MARBLE VALLEY

Marble Valley First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 5 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a horse in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the horse.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving two separate reports of Thefts of Property. Reports were completed and the cases are under investigation.

Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 70 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a horse in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the horse.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy located the motorist and transported them to their residence.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 70 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report the Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Wilson Lane after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to Ham Road after receiving a report of Sexual Abuse. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Billy Louis Ford Sr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 150 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Rustling Pines Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

WEOGUFKA

Weogufka First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and Deputies were dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 55 after receiving a report of cows in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the cows.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to County Road 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

 

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and determined that it was disabled.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Brandon Alan Krueger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Payne Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

MOUNT OLIVE

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of suspicious vehicles in the area. The Deputy located the vehicles and determined that everything was ok.

Leroy NMN Hill a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 116 came to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 49 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

GOODWATER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy located the person and determined that everything was ok.

Steve Allen Marbury a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 122 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Raul George Sarasa II a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Rich Circle reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 87 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and explained the civil process.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 65 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to Brookside Lane after receiving a report of a civil disturbance. The subjects causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to Sweet Tree Lane after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

Thomas Lewis Kelley a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 85 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Jimmy Reed Nickolson III a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 28 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Kenneth Roger Peppers a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Firehouse Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Charles Rufus Gardner a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Trailer Park Road reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 71 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ROCKFORD

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 109 after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 152 after receiving a report of a prowler. The Deputy checked the residence and patrolled the area and did not locate the prowler.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report a case of Cruelty to Animals. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Adam Kyle Ivey a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hill Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 30 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

EQUALITY

Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 18 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

Equality First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 98 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Web Road after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

 

RAY

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of someone shooting in the area. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the source of the shots.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 63 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 73 after receiving a report of Harassment. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the warrant process.

Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 155 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Demetrius Lafarris McGowan a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Hickory Creek Drive reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Joseph Craig Hay a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 135 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

LAKE MARTIN

A Deputy was dispatched to Hook Road after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

A Deputy was dispatched to Little Toms Road after receiving a report of a donkey in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the donkey.

SALEM

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 118 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.
