ARRESTS

Deputy Jones arrested Jacob Kane Hammonds from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and booked into the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Keel arrested Tammy Champagne Moreland from Jemison, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. She was processed and booked into the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Rudd arrested Oretias NMN Hall III from Gadsden, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Speeding. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

CALLS FOR SERVICE

STEWARTVILLE

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Freddie Richard Johns Jr. a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 41 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Bobby Aaron Saffold a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 70 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a mule in the roadway. The Deputy assisted the owner in getting the animal put back in its pasture.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 68 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a stranded motorist. The Deputy assisted the motorist without incident.

Angela Sue Sexton a convicted Sex Offender that resides on County Road 29 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update her Quarterly Sex Offender information.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 75 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

MOUNT OLIVE

Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

GOODWATER

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

Scott Alexander Nicholas a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Gamble Drive reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

Henry Lee Kelly a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Holmes Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 81 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 50 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

A Deputy was dispatched to Russell Medical Center after receiving a report of a resident that was bitten by dog. A report was completed and the case turned over to the Health Department.

A Deputy was dispatched to Spring Street after receiving a report of a residential burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the residence and determined that the alarm was false.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 93 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics and a Deputy were dispatched to County Road 93 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 9 after receiving a report of a suspicious person in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the subject.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 30 after receiving a report of a church burglar alarm. The Deputy checked the church and determined that the alarm was false.

EQUALITY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 98 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to the complainant and explained the civil process.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 51 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RAY

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 42 after receiving a report of a vicious dog in the neighborhood. The Deputy located the owner of the dog and warned them about the dog running loose.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 133 after receiving a report of Identity Theft. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

Deputy House arrested Phillip Ray McKinney from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Receiving Stolen Property. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Lt. Keel arrested Cashton Marcellus Madden from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail.

Lt. Hammond arrested Marcus Dewayne Stone from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

A Deputy was dispatched to Sunnyside Circle after receiving a report of loud music in the area. The Deputy patrolled the neighborhood and did not locate the source of the music.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 150 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and the issue was resolved without incident.

Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Live Oaks Lane after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

WEOGUFKA

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 56 after receiving a request for a welfare check. The Deputy located the subject and determined that everything was ok.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 56 after receiving a report of a tree in the roadway. The Deputy assisted in traffic control while the tree was removed from the road.

A Deputy was dispatched to Ferguson Road after receiving a report of an unwanted person. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 29 after a resident reported hearing suspicious noises. The Deputy patrolled the residence and the area and did not locate the source of the noises.

HANOVER

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 75 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a horse in the roadway. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the horse.

GOODWATER

Deputies were dispatched to County Road 140 after receiving a report of a stolen vehicle in the area. The Deputies located the vehicle and one subject was arrested for receiving stolen property.

A Deputy served another agencies warrant on a subject at the Highland Ridge Apartments. The subject was turned over to that agency without incident.

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 28 after receiving a report of a suspicious person. The Deputy patrolled the area and did not locate the person.

KELLYTON

A Deputy was dispatched to County Road 87 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and the warrant process explained.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 81 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

Kellyton Medics were dispatched to County Road 77 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

A Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to County Road 30 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

Deputy Jones arrested Kenneth Wade Boulware from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.

Deputy Lipscomb arrested April Lasha Crocker Crow from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Negotiating a Worthless Instrument. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial.
