ARRESTS

On October 10th Lt. Burke arrested Clarence Earl Keller from Vincent, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $4000 bond to await trial.

On October 10th Deputy House arrested Terrence Lavert Chatman from Heflin, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $4000 bond to await trial.

On October 10th Deputy House arrested Byron Aundre Hester from Anniston, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. He was processed and released on a $4000 bond to await trial.

On October 11th Lt. Burke arrested Otis NMN Carvin Jr. from Equality, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with a $2000 bond to await trial.

On October 11th Deputy House arrested James Earl Turner from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On October 11th Deputy House arrested Tiffany Brook Murray from Kellyton, AL. on the charge of Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. She was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On October 12th Deputy Rudd arrested Ashley Paul Kenney from Alexander City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/No Insurance and Expired Tag. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

On October 13th Lt. Hammond arrested Raegan Paige Gray from Tallassee, AL. on a warrant for Assault 2nd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 10,000 bond to await trial.

On October 14th Lt. Hammond arrested Payton Michelle Liner from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay/ Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

On October 14th Lt. Hammond arrested Mykaylin Danielle Piotrowski from Stewartville, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay / Possession of Marijuana 2nd. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

On October 14th Deputy Rudd arrested Corie Darius Burns from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/ No Insurance, Switched Tag and Driving while Suspended. He was processed and released after fines were paid.

On October 14th Deputy Rudd arrested Jessica Faith Ledlow from Pell City, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Impeding the Flow of Traffic and No Insurance. She was processed and released after fines were paid.

On October 14th Deputy House arrested Darryl Kreg Perry from Weogufka, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 5000 bond to await trial.

On October 16th Deputy House arrested Khiry Hakeem Appleberry from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and released on a $ 5000 bond to await trial.

MARBLE VALLEY

On October 12th Marble Valley First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Laurie Ann Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

STEWARTVILLE

On October 10th A Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On October 11th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 near CR 41 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 29 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On October 13th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to Shiloh Drive after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On October 13th Stewartville First Responders were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was assisted without incident.

On October 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Hallman Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On October 16th a Deputy was dispatched to White Rock Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

WEOGUFKA

On October 14th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 107 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

HANOVER

On October 15th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 157 after receiving a report of a civil dispute. The Deputy spoke to both parties and one of the subjects left the residence for the night.

KEYNO

On October 14th Rockford First Responders and Goodwater Medics were dispatched to CR 40 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

GOODWATER

On October 15th a Deputy was dispatched to Blackberry Lane after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

KELLYTON

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 50 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report was completed and two people were arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault.

On October 13th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 14th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 87 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 15th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 48 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 16th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RICHVILLE

On October 10th Richville First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 19 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to a Chilton County Hospital.

ROCKFORD

On October 12th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in requesting a report for an accident involving a deer. The Deputy completed the report without incident.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On October 10th Ray First Responders and Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 93 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

EQUALITY

On October 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 33 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

RAY

On October 11th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Hwy 22 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

LAKE MARTIN

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

SMYRNA

On October 10th Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On October 11th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 85 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On October 5th Lt. Hammond arrested Amber Nickole Northcutt from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Hindering Prosecution. She was processed and released on a $2500 bond to await trial.

On October 7th Lt. Hammond arrested Amber Kate Dunkin Robinson from Equality, AL. on the charges of Theft of Property 2nd , Theft of Property 3rd and Burglary 3rd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $20,000 bond to await trial.

On October 9th Corporal Moon arrested Jason Michael Durham from Rockford, AL. on warrants for Failure to Pay/Theft of Property 3rd and Criminal Trespass 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with no bond to await trial.

On October 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Antique Valley Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On October 5th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 150 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On October 7th a Deputy was dispatched to Estelle Drive after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On October 8th Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 41 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On October 3rd Kenneth Ray Swindell a convicted Sex Offender that resides on Queen Street reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Trailer Park Road after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the residence prior to the Deputy’s arrival.

On October 8th Deputies were dispatched to a business on Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. The subject causing the problems had left the area prior to the Deputies arrival. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault was completed and the warrant process was explained.

RICHVILLE

On October 6th Deputy House attended the Monthly Neighborhood Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime reports for the area.

ROCKFORD

RAY

On October 5th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On October 8th Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 22 near CR 32 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA

On October 6th a Deputy was dispatched to Cedar Circle after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

SMYRNA

On October 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Raccoon Trail after receiving a report of Breaking and Entering of a Vehicle. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 27th Deputy Smith arrested Michael Lynn Fowler from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Pay / Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 28th Lt. Hammond arrested Jon Cameron Vincent from Childersburg, AL. on the charge of Escape 2nd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 28th Lt. Hammond arrested Amanda Leigh Casey from Sylacauga, AL. on the charge of Permitting/Facilitating an Escape. She was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 29th Lt. Hammond arrested Corey Neil Farmer from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Hindering Prosecution 2nd and Failure to Appear/ No Tag, No Insurance and Driving while Suspended. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial on a $2500 bond for the Hindering Prosecution 2nd charge and no bond on the Failure to Appear charges.

On September 29th Lt. Hammond arrested Bethaney Denise Lee from Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Hindering Prosecution 2nd and Failure to Appear/ Driving while suspended and Speeding. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to await trial on a $2500 bond for the Hindering Prosecution 2nd charge and no bond for the Failure to Appear charges.

On September 29th Lt. Hammond arrested Tracy Leigh Lee from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Hindering Prosecution 2nd. She was processed and released on a $2500 bond to await trial.

MOUNT OLIVE

On September 28th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 66 near CR 49 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

KELLYTON

On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Long Tree Drive after receiving a report of a Theft of Services. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On September 27th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 87 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 28th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a missing person. A report was completed and after a brief search the person was located and everything was ok.

On September 29th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On October 1st Kellyton Medics, Deputies and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 111 and Hwy 280 after receiving a report of an ATV accident. One person was deceased at the scene and another person was airlifted by LifeSaver to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On October 2nd Goodwater Medics were dispatched to Hwy 9 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to Old Salter Community Road after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On October 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 19 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

ROCKFORD

On September 28th a Deputy and the Coroner were dispatched to CR 305 after receiving a report of a resident that had passed away. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

On September 30th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On September 26th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a person came in to report an Assault that occurred on Chapman Creek Road. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On September 27th a Deputy was dispatched to County Road 98 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

RAY

On September 27th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 73 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

Ray First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 73 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a motorcycle. One person was transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On September 12th Deputy House arrested Alonzo Pascual Mateo from Gadsden, AL. on the charges of Giving False Information to Law Enforcement, Speeding and No Driver’s License. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $3100 bond.

On September 16th Deputy Rudd arrested Delma Carlton Silmon from Goodwater, AL. on a warrant for Non-Support of a Child. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with a $1500 payout amount.

On September 12th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 75 after receiving a report of a Minor in Possession of Alcohol. A report was completed and the juvenile was turned over to the Juvenile Officer.

On September 13th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 119 after receiving a report of a domestic dispute. A report for Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment was completed and the warrant process was explained.

ARRESTS

On September 8th Deputy House arrested Brandon Scott Brown from Rockford, AL. on a Probation Violation for a Drug Court Sanction. He was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve a 5-day sanction.

On September 8th Lt. Hammond arrested Elizabeth Marie Dunham from Kellyton, AL. on a warrant for Identity Theft. She was processed and released on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On September 8th Deputy House arrested Tiana Brene Riley from Kellyton, AL. on the charges of Possession of Marijuana 2nd and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st. She was processed and released on a $4500 bond to await trial.

On September 8th Lt. Hammond arrested Cassandra Lynn Tampling from Sylacauga, AL. on a Drug Court Sanction for 48 hrs. Also, she was arrested on a Probation Violation Warrant and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On September 11th Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 9 near Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident involving a horse. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On August 29th Deputy House arrested Patrick Alexander May Jr. from Birmingham, AL. on the charges of Driving Under the Influence, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana 2nd. He was processed and released on a $6500 bond to await trial.

On August 30th Lt. Keel arrested Justin Renard Paschal from Elmore, AL. on a warrant for Shooting into an Occupied Building/Vehicle. He was processed and released on a $5000 bond to await trial.

On August 30th Lt. Burke arrested Jerry Dewayne Bearden from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. He was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On August 30th Lt. Hammond arrested Heather Rena Shelton from Rockford, AL. on a warrant for Domestic Violence 3rd/Assault. She was processed and released on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On August 30th Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics, Deputies and Rockford Police Chief were dispatched to Hwy 231 just North of Town after receiving a report of an accident involving a tractor trailer. One person was airlifted by Haynes Lifeflight to U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham.

On September 2nd Rockford First Responders, Kellyton Medics and Deputies were dispatched to CR 23 after receiving a report of an accident involving a tractor. The resident was deceased due to injuries prior to the medic’s arrival. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.
