JAIL POPULATION AS OF JANUARY 8 (17 MALES & 5 FEMALES) TOTAL OF 22 INMATES

ARRESTS

On January 2nd Deputy Moon arrested Marcus Dewayne Stone of Sylacauga, AL. on warrants for Failure to Appear/Failure to Display Insurance and Probation Violation x 2. He was processed and has a $4,000 bond and fees to be paid.

On January 4th Lt. Keel arrested Mary Ann Sheppard from Clanton, AL. on a Probation Violation for a Drug Court Sanction. She was processed and placed in the County Jail to serve a 48 hr. sanction.

On January 4th Lt. Hammond arrested Seth Adam Thompson from Childersburg , AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 1st , Theft of Property 3rd and Burglary 3rd x 2. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $70,000 bond to await trial.

On January 5th Lt. Hammond arrested Christy Nicole Bailey from Leeds , AL. on warrants for Theft of Property 1st , Theft of Property 4th and Burglary 3rd. She was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $40,000 bond to await trial.

On January 6th Deputy Jones arrested Frederick Dewayne Wisdom Jr. from Florence, AL. on the charge of Possession of an Altered Firearm. He was processed and released on a $ 5000 bond to await trial.

STEWARTVILLE

On January 2nd Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 280 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On January 2nd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 53 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On January 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On January 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

On January 5th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 41 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 6th Stewartville First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 8th Stewartville First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, and a Deputy were dispatched to Turney Lane after receiving a report of an unresponsive person. A report was completed and the scene was turned over to the Coroner.

WEOGUFKA

On January 2nd Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Oak Tree Drive after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On January 3rd Weogufka First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to CR 56 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On January 4th a Deputy was dispatched to Quail Trail after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

KELLYTON

On January 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to CR 71 after receiving a report of Criminal Mischief. A report was completed and the case is under investigation.

On January 5th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 85 at CR 77 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On January 8th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 28 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

RICHVILLE

On January 5th Corporal Moon attended the Monthly Neighbor Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

ROCKFORD

On January 2nd Deputy Rudd attended the Monthly Neighbor Watch Meeting where he presented the monthly crime report for the area.

On January 8th Rockford First Responders and Haynes Ambulance were dispatched to CR 18 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

EQUALITY

On January 3rd Equality First Responders and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 259 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

LAKE MARTIN

On January 7th Equality First Responders, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 2 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On December 30th Deputy Rudd arrested Davis Franklin Kelley from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $2000 bond to await trial.

On January 1st Deputy Moon arrested Tracy Carlisle Owensby from Roanoke, AL. on the charges of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 1st, Possession of a Still and Criminal Trespass by Vehicle. She was processed and released on a $ 9000 bond to await trial.

On January 1st Deputy Lipscomb arrested Stacy Lynn Carlisle from Roanoke, AL. on the charge of Criminal Trespass by Vehicle. She was processed and released on a $500 bond to await trial.

On January 1st Sylacauga Ambulance and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

MT OLIVE

On December 28th Sylacauga Ambulance was dispatched to CR 49 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

KELLYTON

On December 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

RICHVILLE

On December 30th a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 37 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On December 27th a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

On December 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 30 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

ARRESTS

On December 13th Deputy Jones arrested Jack Curtis Harrell and Johnny Ray Harrell from Rockford, AL. on the charges of Domestic Violence 3rd/ Harassment. They were processed and released on a $2000 bond each to await trial.

On December 13th Corporal Moon arrested Chad Eric Frye from Talladega, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Domestic Violence 3rd/Harassment. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On December 13th Deputy Jones arrested Jourdain Pierre McKinney from Goodwater, AL. on the charge of Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed and released on a $ 5000 bond to await trial.

On December 14th Lt. Keel arrested Degretio Antonia Sandlin from Alexander City, AL. on the charge of Failure to Appear/ Non Support of a Child. He was processed and released after a payout of $ 2000 was paid to the Department of Human Resources.

On December 18th Deputy Rudd arrested Christopher Carl Kirk from Sylacauga, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/Obstructing Governmental Operations and also the charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was processed and placed in the County Jail with a $ 25,000 bond on the Possession charge and No Bond on the FTA charge.

On December 15th Lt. Keel arrested Latarious Marques Harrell from Anniston, AL. on a warrant for Failure to Appear/ Giving False Name to Officer and Possession of Marijuana 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On December 15th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to Jones Hills Road after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

On December 14th a Deputy was dispatched to the Sheriff’s Office after a resident came in to report some Lost Property. A report was completed without incident.

On December 3rd a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 280 after receiving a report of a business burglar alarm. When the Deputy got on scene he found that the business had been burglarized. A report for Burglary and Theft of Property was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On December 2nd E.G. Isbell a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 8 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to register and to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

On December 4th Richville First Responders, Haynes Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was transported to a local hospital and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

COTTAGE GROVE / HISSOP

On December 1st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 22 after receiving a report of Harassment. A report was completed and the warrant process was explained.

RAY

On November 29th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 317 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

On December 4th Equality First Responders, Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to CR 54 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. There were no reported injuries and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

On November 29th Deputies, Game and Fish Wardens, and local First Responders were dispatched to Harmony Road after receiving a report of a missing hunter. A search was conducted during the night and the subject was located the next morning and was suffering from exposure and was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On November 30th Kellyton Medics were dispatched to CR 85 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Russell Medical Center.

ARRESTS

On November 21st Deputy Rudd arrested Robert Anthony Frye from Childersburg, AL. on a Grand Jury Indictment for Escape 1st. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $10,000 bond to await trial.

On November 21st Deputy Smith arrested Phillip Jerome Deloach from Talladega, AL. on a warrant for Probation Violation. He was processed and placed in the County Jail without bond to await trial.

On November 22nd Deputy Rudd arrested Keith Bernard Lawson from Alexander City, AL. on Grand Jury Indictments for Burglary 3rd and Theft of Property 3rd. He was processed and placed in the County Jail on a $ 15,000 bond to await trial.

On November 22nd Deputy House arrested Eugene NMN Gatson from Montgomery, AL. on the charge of Driving Under the Influence. He was processed and released on a $ 2000 bond to await trial.

On November 23rd Stewartville First Responders and Sylacauga Ambulance were dispatched to Hwy 231 after a resident requested medical assistance. The resident was transported to Coosa Valley Medical Center.

On November 24th Stewartville, Hanover and Rockford First Responders, Sylacauga Ambulance, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a one vehicle accident. One person was air lifted by Life-Saver to U.A.B. Hospital in Birmingham and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.

HANOVER

On November 21st a Deputy was dispatched to Hwy 231 after receiving a report of a Theft of Property. A report was completed and the case was turned over to the Investigator.

KEYNO

On November 25th a Deputy was dispatched to CR 40 after receiving a request for a funeral escort. The Deputy completed the escort as requested.

GOODWATER

On November 21st Jeremy Lee Emfinger a convicted Sex Offender that resides on CR 159 reported to the Sheriff’s Office to update his quarterly Sex Offender information.

KELLYTON

On November 24th Kellyton Medics, a Deputy and an Alabama State Trooper were dispatched to Hwy 280 near CR 50 after receiving a report of a two vehicle accident. Two people were transported to Russell Medical Center and the scene was turned over to the Trooper.
